In February 2022 I participated in a retreat at Cumberland Lodge involving UG and PG students at King's College London. The idea was to spend a weekend discussing with interested students about modern topics in Mathematics and Physics and to give a talk on a subject of my choice. In this case it was Entanglement.
In May 2017 I participated again on the Pint of Science Festival together with my partner Benjamin Doyon. We talked about the science of Complexity, Criticality and Emergent Behaviours.
An article entitled based on my 2016 Pint of Science contribution entitled "Quantum computers: from zeroes and ones to atoms" has been published here.
In May 2016 I participated on the Pint of Science Festival together with my PhD student Davide Bianchini. We discussed Quantum Computation.
In January 2016 I wrote a short feature article for City News on Prime Numbers. You can find it here.
I have contributed to an article published on BBC Earth on the 20th of January 2016. The article explored the reasons why scientists and mathematicians find equations beautiful. I contributed a small piece about the logistic map which is quoted here.
In November 2015 I participated in the XXVIII Congress of ENCIGA (the Galician organisation of high school science teachers). I delivered the final talk, where I explained aspects of University teaching and scientific research for the general public.
In October 2015 I participated in a panel discussion to celebrate Ada Lovelace Day (2015). I discussed the relationship of women with Mathematics. The event was held at City University London. Here you can read an unabridged version of what I said.
Here is an interview for the Spanish newspaper "El Faro de Vigo"
