Past and Current PhD & MSc Students:
2024: Federico Rottoli
Federico is a PhD student at SISSA under the supervision of Pasquale Calabrese (he is expected to complete this year). He visited London from February to March to work on a project under my supervision, in collaboration with my students Michele Mazzoni and Fabio Sailis.
2023: Riccardo Travaglino
Riccardo visited London from April to June 2023 to work on his MSc Thesis, co-supervised with Prof. Francesco Ravanini (Universitá di Bologna). Completed his MSc Thesis entitled: "On the Generalized Hydrodynamics of Integrable Quantum Field Theories with Irrelevant Deformations" in September 2023.
2022: Luca Capizzi
Luca was a PhD student at SISSA under the supervision of Pasquale Calabrese (he completed his PhD in September 2023). We collaborated on several projects and he visited City for two moths in 2022 to work on a project under my supervision.
2022-: Fabio Sailis
Fabio started his PhD Thesis in October 2022 and is expected to complete in 2025.
2021: Lucía Santamaría Sanz
In April 2023 Lucía completed her PhD Thesis at the University of Valladolid (Spain) under the supervision of Jose M. Muñoz Castañeda and Luis Miguel Nieto Calzada. She visited City for three months in 2021 to work on a project under my supervision, which led to two joint publications.
2021-: Michele Mazzoni
Michele started his PhD Thesis in October 2021 and is expected to complete by November 2024.
2020-21: Michele Mazzoni
Michele completed his MSc Thesis entitled "Generalized hydrodynamics of a (1 + 1)-dimensional integrable scattering theory with roaming trajectories" in March 2021. The Thesis was co-supervised with Prof. Francesco Ravanini (Universitá di Bologna).
2020-:2021 Aleksandra A. Ziółkowska
Aleksandra was a PhD student in Oxford under the supervision of Prof. Fabian Essler. She worked with me for the last part of her PhD which she completed in November 2021. The title of her Thesis is "Tales of Instability and Decay: an Integrable Perspective". She is now a postdoc at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Oxford.

2018-2021: Cecilia De Fazio
Cecilia completed her Thesis entitled "From Entanglement to Hydrodynamics: Exploring the Role of Quasiparticles in Integrable Quantum Field Theory" in December of 2021. She is now a postdoc at the University of Nottingham in the group of Prof. Juan P. Garrahan.
Thesis Examiners: Prof. Jacopo Viti and Prof. Andreas Fring.
Cecilia started her PhD with me at City in October 2018 and . She is expected to complete in November 2021.
2017-2018: Cecilia De Fazio
Cecilia completed her MSc Thesis entitled "Entanglement Entropy in Excited States" in March 2018. The Thesis was co-supervised with Prof. Francesco Ravanini (Universitá di Bologna).
2013-2016: Davide Bianchini
Davide completed his Thesis entitled "Entanglement Entropy in Integrable Quantum Systems" in October of 2016. He has now pursued a career as Software Developer at Isban UK (part of the Santander group).

2010-2013: Emanuele Levi
Emanuele completed his Thesis entitled "Universal Properties of the Entanglement Entropy in Quantum Integrable Systems" in October of 2013 and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Nottingham and is currently an Implementation Engineer at Featurespace (Cambridge)
